Careers

A small firm where the work is actually yours.

We are a small team, so every hire is a genuinely big decision. That is why we hire carefully, and then do everything we can to make this the last brokerage you work for.

Why here

What a boutique actually gets you

The trade-offs are real in both directions. Here is the honest version.

At a national brokerage you get brand, resources and a clear ladder. What you rarely get is ownership — of a client, of a decision, or of the outcome.

Here you will present to a CEO in your first quarter, negotiate directly with carrier underwriters, and carry clients whose names you will still know in ten years. There is no one to hide behind, which is the point.

The flip side: we have no dedicated IT department, our marketing is whoever has time, and some weeks in November are genuinely hard. If you want a role with sharply drawn edges, we are not it.

Open roles

No openings at the moment

We are fully staffed today, but we keep good resumes on file and we do reach back out.

Send your resume to us via the contact page anyway. We read every one, and we keep the good ones on file.

Our process

Four steps, about two weeks

No panel of eight. No take-home case study. No ghosting.

  1. 1

    Send a note

A resume and a few honest sentences about why. No cover letter theatre, no application portal.

  2. 2

    Coffee, not an interrogation

Forty-five minutes with the principal. Mostly you asking us things. We will be candid about the hard parts of the job.

  3. 3

    Meet the whole team

Everyone, together. You will be working with every one of them, so you should meet every one of them.

  4. 4

    A real offer, quickly

We decide within a week of the second meeting. Salary is in the posting because we are not going to negotiate against you.

Froese Financial Group is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applications from everyone, and we will gladly make accommodations at any point in the hiring process — just say the word when you write to us. Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Not seeing your role?

Write to us anyway. We read every one.

Tell us what you are good at and what you are tired of. If there is a fit now or in six months, Froese will find it — and if there is not, you will hear that too.
